The Rebel T1i the smart choice?

If the person is interested in technical matters, you should see that the Canon Rebel SLR T1i has a 15.1MP image sensor, and the most expensive Nikon D90 has a sensor pixel in 12.3mega image. If the directions of everything you need, so it is reasonably clear that the rebels T1i SLR search is your best price digital camera today.

Considering only the numbers, you do not understand the big picture here. More often it is better not to.

Megapixel is often an important part of the sale of digital cameras, and Fuji, Nikon and other manufacturers know this. Regarding the T1i Rebel SLR, the marketing department seems to have eclipsed the design team.

The APS-C image sensor used in SLR T1i is a bit 'smaller than the DX image sensor used by Nikon D90. Obviously, there are a few ways to squeeze more pixels into a smaller sensor. Using pixel tinier, and the batting together works. A more accurate indicator quality megapixel photos is the density of pixels. Here, the SLR D90 comes with a better (lower is better here) of 3.3 compared to 4.5 for the Canon Rebel T1i.

There is a concern to think differently if it were a digital SLR rebel that has a high pixel density. How to search for additional targets, you learn quickly that more megapixels means more money in expensive lenses. Lens designed for use with a high megapixel digital cameras are designed to cope better, and almost always costs.

For some reason, the objective is normally provided (EF-S 18-55mm IS f/3.5-5.6) T1i Canon is not one that lends itself to better account management megapixels. Canon does, in fact, the objective would be best game of the Canon Rebel T1i, including EF-S 18-200mm Canon.

If this were not enough, be aware that the pixel level can be a disadvantage for the dynamic range, ISO, and diffraction as well. After farther review, it appears that our first impression of the Canon Rebel T1i best bang for the buck is slightly incorrect.

A landmark in the photographic raw data used to measure the sensor and test DxOMark. The tests between the Canon 50D SLR (the same image sensor that use the Rebel SLR T1i) compared to the Nikon D90, the D90 digital SLR camera proves to be much more capable. I have no doubt that T1i DxOMark test WLL is almost identical to the EOS 50D data currently available test current.
